- The accepted written quote
- Engineer-approved plans
- Australian Standard AS 2870 (Residential slabs and footings) where applicable
- The National Construction Code and any local council requirements
You are responsible for providing accurate plans, site access, and any approvals or permits required for the works. Variations must be agreed in writing before they are performed.
5. Payment
Payment terms are set out in the accepted quote. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit is payable on quote acceptance, with progress payments at agreed milestones, and final payment on completion. Late payments may incur interest at the rate permitted under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW).
6. Warranty
We provide a written warranty on our workmanship in accordance with applicable Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law. Warranty details are set out in the accepted quote and the warranty certificate issued on completion. Warranty does not cover damage caused by movement of supporting structures outside our scope, third-party works, ground movement beyond engineered design parameters, or misuse.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of the website is limited to re-supplying the relevant content. Liability arising from the works is governed by the accepted quote, the warranty certificate, and applicable law.
