The right thickness, reinforcement and prep for whatever's going on top — set out to your shed kit and managed end to end.
A good shed, garage or carport slab is not just a flat pad — it is a structural element. Get the thickness wrong, skip the reinforcement, rush the sub-base, or set it out inaccurately and you create problems that follow you for the life of the build. Get it right and the frame goes up on a solid, stable base that lasts.
Building concrete slabs across Greater and Western Sydney since 2012, we handle the whole job — excavation and sub-base preparation, accurate set-out to your shed kit's hold-down points, formwork, steel reinforcement, the pour, and the finish. One team manages the job from start to finish, with one point of contact and one crew accountable for the result.
Each structure has its own requirements. Here is how we approach the three most common jobs.
We set out the pad to match your kit's bolt-down or hold-down point locations so the frame lands correctly on the finished slab. Where the kit calls for it, we form rebates along the edges so the shed wall sits flush with the slab face. Sub-base is prepared and compacted before any steel or formwork goes in.
Garage slabs carry vehicles, so thickness and reinforcement are specified for the load. We tie the slab into the garage build and coordinate the set-out with your builder or frame supplier. The finished surface is smooth and level — ready for the frame and for years of daily vehicle use.
Carport slabs need to drain correctly, handle vehicle loads, and finish neatly to the posts or structure above. We set the falls so water moves away from the structure, use the right reinforcement for the ground conditions, and finish the surface to suit — whether that is a plain finish or something more decorative.
From excavation to finished surface — managed by one team, one point of contact, accountable start to finish.
Set out to your kit's anchor plan, with rebates and sub-base prep included as required.
Thicker, reinforced for vehicle loads, tied to the build and set out to suit your garage frame.
Durable, drained and finished to suit the structure — set correctly so water moves away from the posts.
Formed where specified by the engineer or required by your shed kit — providing the bearing and flush-fit the structure needs.
Mesh, bar or a combination — specified for the load and checked before the pour goes in.
Excavated to depth, spoil removed, sub-base laid and compacted — the groundwork that stops movement and cracking over time.
Three clear steps, managed by one team, from the first measure to handover.
We confirm dimensions from your shed kit plans or builder, mark out the pad, excavate to the right depth, and lay and compact the sub-base. Hold-down and anchor locations are set out before formwork goes in.
Formwork is set to level and to the correct falls. Edge thickenings or rebates are formed where required. Steel reinforcement — mesh, bar or both — is placed and checked before we call the concrete.
Concrete is poured, screeded and finished to a smooth, level surface. We give you a clear timeframe for when the slab is ready for your frame installation, and we tidy the site before we leave.
Rather than publish a flat rate that may not match your job, we price each slab on its specific requirements — so the number you receive is the number you pay. Send us your site details and kit plans and we will have a fixed-price quote back to you within 24 hours.
