Burwood is one of the smallest council areas in Sydney and one of the most tightly built. Six suburbs, narrow street frontages, and neighbours close enough that the pour has to be planned around them rather than the other way round.
There is very little greenfield work here. Almost every slab we pour in Burwood is a rebuild, a duplex or a secondary dwelling going in behind a house that is still standing — which makes access, not ground, the first thing we look at.
