What Is Exposed Aggregate?

Exposed aggregate is a decorative concrete finish where the top layer of cement is gently washed back to reveal the natural stones, pebbles and sand set within the concrete. The result is a textured, hard-wearing surface with far more character than plain grey concrete.

Because the strength comes from the concrete itself — not a coating or overlay — it stands up to vehicle traffic and weather for decades with very little upkeep. It's the most popular decorative finish for driveways across Sydney, and laying concrete since 2012 we pour every job start to finish.

Expose & Handover

The surface is washed back to expose the aggregate, cured and sealed. You can walk on it within a few days and drive on it after a minimum of 10 days.
